With the help of augmented reality, line-of-sight analysis, and visual search capabilities, TPE supports even the most complex photo planning requirements.

One standout feature of TPE is its night mode, which offers a 3D representation of the Milky Way, pole stars, and major constellations directly over the map. This allows users to easily visualize and align their shots accordingly.

With TPE, you can also save and manage a list of your favorite photographic locations using various map types, including offline maps. Favorite locations are conveniently displayed on the map, ensuring easy access.

Note that for sunrise/sunset color forecasts, a subscription to the Skyfire service is required, covering lower 48, southern Canada, and Europe. These forecasts are available via in-app purchase.

Please be aware that some features, such as maps and elevation calculations, require a data connection. However, previously downloaded offline map tiles can be accessed without a connection. Additionally, topographic map data is only available between 60°N and 47°S. The availability of map types is subject to change based on third-party map service availability and terms or conditions. The app currently supports only the English language.

Augmented reality features are available on devices iPhone 6s or later, iPad Pro, or 2017 models running iOS 11 or later."
